Here’s this year’s proposed trip!

Day 1:

• Depart Thelwall on motorbike Friday evening after work.
• Ride to St Albans, stopping for breaks as necessary
• Check into hotel in St Albans for the night
• Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant

Day 2:

• Depart St Albans in the morning
• Ride to the Channel Tunnel, stopping for breaks as necessary
• Take the Eurotunnel shuttle to France
• Lunch in the pretty French countryside, vin and fromage!
• Continue riding to Rouen, checking into hotel for the night
• Explore the city, visiting the Rouen Cathedral and the Gros Horloge
• Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant

Day 3:

• Depart Rouen in the morning
• Ride to Ouistreham, checking into hotel for the next two nights
• Explore the town and relax on the beach
• Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant

Day 4:

• Explore the D-Day landing beaches and museums
• Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant
• Return to Ouistreham for dinner

Day 5:

• Depart Ouistreham in the morning
• Ride to the Caen-Portsmouth ferry terminal
• Take the ferry back to the UK
• Ride to Chipping Norton, checking into hotel for the night
• Visit the Diddy Squat Farm Shop and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant

Day 6:

• Depart Chipping Norton in the morning and return home.
